Beckton Community Fun Day

Beckton Community Projects hosted a Fun Day for our local community. It was packed with fun activities, delicious food and vendors selling their amazing products on stalls. Our activities consisted of the following: Penalty Shoot Out Challenge, Basketball Hoop Challenge, Target Hit, Egg and Spoon Race, Arts and Crafts Competition. The winners of the competitions were awarded gift cards as a prize. We had a BBQ going, selling quarter pounder burgers and they were selling fast! We invited vendors to sell their products/food on the day and it was a success. Over 800 people attended the fun day giving positive feedback on the event. Please have a look at the gallery below.
Sharing ideas for Beckton Parks
Teaming up with #StreetSpace
Beckton Community Projects teamed up with StreetSPace to test and celebrate peoples ideas for the future of Beckton parks. A 6ft helium balloon with a camera attached to capture visions of the park from above.
We enjoyed live music, locally prepared food and activities that celebrate the community, reflecting on everything we've learned as well as looking forward to the parks future.
